Lyrics of The Sea

The Sea was calm, but in it's own way wild
The waves crashed masterfully, but gently, gently on the shore
The rocks and shells it carried, glistened on the wet silvery sand
Awaiting for the next wave or tide
That would again carry them to the silent world at the bottom of the Sea.

The chill wind carried a hint of the changing season
The sun held on to the clouds as they slipped over the horizon
Trying to outshine the misty fog that foretold the coming rain

A figured appeared
Footsteps leading from the weathered house on the bluff
The sun lost its battle and the rain fell
But the figure moved on drawn by the endless waves
And was content
