Drowning in a sea of dreams
Visions of what might have been
I accept the delusion as a conclusion
That makes me want to condescend (I really do)

I have spent two decades running (oh yes I have)
From what I'll never know
Not aware that time is passing
As it slowly starts to show

All the lies that surround me
