Lyrics of Honey

Honey, honey, oh honey.

Imagine everytime you said honey,
a bee would chase you without fail.
Please pass the honey, honey
would get you two on your tail.
You could change the word to nectar,
and then try to play the game?
Please pass the nectar, nectar.
Boy, doesn't that sound lame?

Bees appreciate a flower
which makes the fruit really sweet.
But our intentions sometimes sour.
When we don't appreciate.

Lets say if your intentions were good
you wouldn't have to sweat.
And if you used honey in a loving way,
the bees wouldn't be any threat.
Then wouldn't you want to try your best
to appreciate your honey?
Can you see yourself with no bad intentions?
Now wouldn't that be funny?

Bees appreciate a flower
which makes the fruit really sweet.
But our intentions sometimes sour.
When we don't appreciate.

The endearing word, honey,
means a lot when it's not over done.
But if your game is to smooth things over
then maybe you just better run.
The backlash from uttering the word
may arouse the awaiting bee.
And the one who was wronged may utter
"Don't you honey me!"

Bees appreciate a flower
which makes the fruit really sweet.
But our intentions sometimes sour.
When we don't appreciate.

Why does some fruit tastes so sweet
and others not so much?
You need to spread a lot of pollen
and the bees have the touch.
Multiple visits to a flower
increases the sweetness of fruit.
Appreciation makes for better honey
and that you can't dispute.

Is your honey sweeter than sugar
cause you address your honey right.
Or is your honey always on guard
for words that may ignite.
Bees know how to make good honey.
They appreciate the process well.
But do we give enough appreciation?
The sweetness of the fruit will tell.
