Lyrics of Boiling
You know life's been hard and not very charming
All I've ever known is farming farming
Hurrying all day long just toiling and
toiling
Always in the hot sun and it's boiling boiling
My clothes
started out clean but they're gradually soiling
Speedingly drenched in sweat
cause the day's rapidly boiling
Now I don't mind no not at all-HUH!!
It's what I do from Spring until Fall
Plowing the ground to give it what it
needs
Getting ready getting ready to plant the seeds
Now the best
is yet to come and oh-how well I know
When I'm just standing back and
watching watching it grow and grow
Lord..........I hope there ain't much pain
and the crops don't fail
Please send enough rain but please don't send any
hail
You can harvest too early, it could start spoiling
And you know
something else? That would really get me boiling
Getting in the fields with
my old combine
Threshing my crops at just the right time.
With the
harvest over I took my combine to park it
Then I took my full truck of grain,
I took it to market
But when I got there I could see there was a crisis
Whether it's soybeans or corn they went and lowered all the prices
Now
that really makes me sad and gets my blood roiling
I'm working all day just
trying to make ends meet.
After all that hard work, after all that toiling
and toiling
It makes me so mad It gets me boiling, boiling, boiling.
