Class Description:
Learn basic beading techniques plus the
peyote stitch as you create this beautifully detailed bracelet. Doris
has many years of experience in teaching a wide variety of beading
classes, so come and learn her tips, tricks and techniques!
This is what you will be
doing: A brick stitch base of dark green iris beads is
highlighted by a Labradorite stone cab and ruby colored
twists of size 11 seed beads.
The bezel for
the cab is worked with peyote stitch onto the brick stitch
base. This bracelet should be easy to complete by all levels
of beaders.
If you wish to bring your own cab
for use in this class, be sure it is approximately 22x30mm.
Do you have a collection of
cabochon beads? Do you make your own focal beads? Did you take
Maureen's Friday night polymer clay bead class? Bring your own
supplies if you'd like to incorporate some of your handmade or
collected beads into this design. Scroll down for the supply
list.
